Welcome to

Tom.jpgGloucester Blazers Wheelchair Basketball Club

A great year for the Blazers.

We have one member in the UK Invictus squad. A member who missed selection for Invictus by a hair's breadth. A member in the England w/chair rugby squad, Promotion up to 2 Div for the 1st team and promotion up to 3 Div for our 2nd team.

To become part of this fantastic club you need to make contact NOW. Details below

We are the leading sports club for the disabled in Gloucestershire, playing in both the 2nd and 3rd Divisions of the national league.  However to strengthen our Ladies team we do need a few more ladies to join us

Our weekly training sessions take place on Thursdays at 6.00pm at the Oxstalls Campus of the University of Gloucestershire, also the venue for our 'Home' matches

Everyone is welcome regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation or colour, currently our youngest player is aged fourteen and we go through to age 50

Chicken.jpgAlthough the club is 'Open to All' participation in club activities does require an ability to use a manual wheelchair and to be able to interpret the referee’s instructions.

The club also provides a venue for the disabled to meet socially and in an informal atmosphere.

To keep up to date see the 'NEWS' page which is updated regularly, whilst fixtures and match results are listed on our 'EVENTS' page
